Trains from Amsterdam to...

Update complete for times in 2008

Paris (in France) - The trains pass through the Netherlands, Belgium (via Brussels) and enter France. In general, the direct trains in the morning and mid-afternoon are part of the Thalys train system (referred to below with the letters THL) and therefore require a reservation. Normal tickets alone are not valid on these trains, and passholders have to pay an extra fee. Between Amsterdam and Brussels, it is (still) possible to take alternative day trains on a regular basis that do not require payment of this extra fee (see schedule between Amsterdam and Brussels).

Note: the only direct train between Amsterdam and Paris that avoids these extra fees is the night train.

All trains are daily unless noted. Departure is from Amsterdam CS and arrival in Paris is at Gare du Nord.
