Vienna/Wien (in Austria) - The route of the direct, daytime train passes through the German city of Dresden, the Czech city of Prague and enters Austria via Hohenau. Departures are daily from BERLIN Hbf (Hauptbahnhof) station unless noted. Trains EC 173 and EC 177 from Berlin do NOT stop at the main station in Prague (called hlavni nadrazi), but instead stop at Praha Holesovice.
Note: the Eurailpass, the Europass and the German Rail Passes are not valid in the Czech Republic. Please obtain an additional ticket for the segment of the journey from the German border.

Many other trains leave Vienna from Wien West. Please check to make sure you are at the correct station when trying to depart the city.
