Paris (in France) - The trains follow a route through Italy and then continue either via Modane (directly into France) or through Lausanne in Switzerland (before entering France). Departures are daily from Roma Termini and arrive in Paris at Gare de Lyon unless noted. All TGV trains mentioned below require a reservation.
Important Note - The "EuroStar Italia", noted in the schedules below with the letters "ES", are often shown (and indirectly recommended) in the Eurail guide. All travelers, including railpassholders, must pay for a (moderately expensive) reservation to use these trains.
